Oxbow Market and Ca' Momi Enoteca - Napa, CA

Oxbow Market in downtown Napa is a wondrous, fun, hectic place! Like an upscale indoor farmers' market, it features fresh fruit, cheese, and flowers, and tons of vendors serving gourmet pizza, sandwiches, seafood, and ice cream.

It's so much fun to wander the aisles of the market!

We chose to grab a quick lunch at Ca' Momi Enoteca.

We ordered a Napoleon style pizza  called Capricciosa, featuring grilled artichokes, wine forest mushrooms, and prosciutto cotto. Since we were having a wine tasting at 2pm, I chose to pair it with a carbonated Italian soda called Spuma Nera, which is made from chinotto (a myrtle-leaf orange drink), the red part of rhubarb roots, and an orange zest infusion. Yum!

A friend made a stop at the amazing cheese store at the market, and picked up a few selections that we had later on in the afternoon. So delicious!

Now, on to Alpha Omega for a wine tasting!
