Okay, but hot!!! I probably wouldn't purchase this wine myself just because of the alcohol content - felt a little tipsy after just one glass!

Stephen Vincent Crimson 2009, California - $11.25

This is one of my new favorite wines! At $11.25/bottle at Austin Wine Merchant, it's a great deal for a nice bottle of wine. It's a blend of 75% Syrah and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, and is made in the Côtes du Rhône style.

Soft, medium bodied, and goes with just about everything! Yum!

Update - September 17, 2012
I'm not as crazy about this wine anymore. It really needs to be paired with food - it's not a "sip a glass by itself" type of wine for me.
