Veramonte Primus Red Wine 2007, Colchagua Valley, Chile - $17

This wine was a gift from BE and AE. It is a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Syrah, 8% Merlot, and 7% Carmenère, and it retails online for $17/bottle. It was rated 90 points by Robert Parker, and past vintages have all rated in the high 80s and low 90s.

Aroma - black peppery fruit
Taste - black fruit, black pepper, deep dark chocolate, dry, moderate tannins

I really like this wine! Its dark chocolate finish tastes like it belongs to a wine several times the price.
