Lucas & Lewellen Goodchild High 9 Vineyard Pinot Noir 2006, Santa Barbara County, CA - $38

This was the last bottle of this wine at Coal Vines (at the bottom of the W Austin). I first had it at the restaurant's preview night a few weeks ago, and it was excellent. And the prices here seem to be more reasonable than most restaurant wine prices. For instance, this wine's suggested retail price is $30/bottle , and it sells here for $38/bottle or $9/glass. It is 100% Pinot Noir.

Aroma - red fruit and minerals
Taste - soft red fruit, minerals, dry

This wine is very nice - so nice that I love it! I'm going to have to see if I can get another bottle of this vintage!
