Brazilian BBQ Night

Tonight RSam and MSam made amazing Brazilian BBQ for us! We had two red wines with the main meal.

Zuccardi Q Malbec 2007, Mendoza, Argentina
See this wine's main page for the tasting notes.

Great pairing with dinner, which included beef tri-tip and New York strip steak, teriyaki mahimahi, yucca root, and roasted veggies (onions, bell peppers, Portobello mushrooms, and zucchini).

Château de Macard Bordeaux Supérieur 2009, Bordeaux, France - $9
I purchased this wine for $9/bottle at Costco, which is apparently the largest purchaser of Bordeaux wines in North America. It is a blend of 50% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 30% Merlot, and was rated 90 points by Wine Spectator.

Aroma - red and dark fruit
Taste - red and dark fruit, dry, nice minerals, dark cocoa, moderate tannins

Like! Perfect after dinner wine as we grazed on the food that was still on the table. Then, we had flan for dessert and the wine went fine with it!
