Estancia Pinot Noir 2009 Pinnacles Ranches, Monterrey County, California - $12.99

This California Pinot Noir tastes as an inexpensive Pinot should taste - red fruit, black tea, and soft tannins - not sweet, but light and easy-to-drink. It retails for $12.99/bottle at Whole Foods, where I tasted it this weekend. Another good buy for the price, although for just a dollar more, I'd still go with my standard Devil's Corner Pinot Noir from Tasmania.
