Chateau Robin 2009, Lussac-Saint-Emilion, France - $13.99

Whole Foods continues its focus on 2009 Bordeaux wines. Today I tasted this Bordeaux from Lussac-Saint-Emilion, which is a blend of 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. It retails for $13.99/bottle at Whole Foods.

Taste - black fruit, strong black tea, moderate tannins, bitter finish

This wine might be better with food. It's a maybe for me.
