Foris Pinot Noir 2008, Rogue Valley, Oregon - $18.50

Had this wine tonight at MS and SD's. It is 100% Pinot Noir from the Rogue Valley in Oregon.

Aroma - cherries, light spice
Taste - cherries, light pepper, soft tannins, long finish

We paired this wine with devils on horseback (dates and prunes stuffed with goat cheese, wrapped in peppered turkey bacon, and drizzled with Round Rock honey), marinated roasted Kalamata olives, turkey meatloaf a la Giada, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Fantastic!!!

I really liked this wine! Very nice for a Pinot Noir in this price point!
