Ghost Pines Cabernet Sauvignon 2008, Napa and Sonoma County, CA - $15

This Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 68% Napa Valley Cab and 32% Sonoma County Cab, and retails for $15 at Costco in Orange County, CA (I haven't seen it here in Austin).

The winery was founded by the son of Louis M. Martini, who is named Louis P. Martini. "Ghost Pines" refers to the native grey pines which appear ghostly at dusk.

Aroma - blackberries, a little tea
Taste - blackberries, a little black tea, soft tannins, smooth with a dry finish

A nice wine! I like it a lot better than the Louis M. Martini Cab (basic version), which actually retails for just a few dollars less.
