Blason de Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2009, Burgundy, France - $8

This Pinot Noir from France is really easy-drinking! JL brought it to a little get-together we had today - she purchased it from Trader Joe's for around $8/bottle.

Aroma - light fruit, white pepper
Taste - very light fruit, white pepper, very soft tannins

Everyone at the party loved the wine as it had almost no trace of tannins. This would be a fantastically food-friendly wine. According to its fact sheet, it has 12% alcohol and hasn't been fermented or aged in oak. Yum!
