Parducci Petite Sirah 2007, Mendocino County, CA - $10

I've really been enjoying Petite Sirahs and Cabernet Francs lately. This Petite Sirah from Parducci is no exception. Parducci is well-known as a green winery that practices sustainable farming. This particular wine is part of its Family-Farmed line, and is made with 100% Mendocino County fruit. I purchased it for $10/bottle at Costco, and it retails on the winery's website for $10.99/bottle.

This wine is just lovely. It is smooth, supple, and easy to drink. It is an understated and elegant wine, which is especially pleasant to find at this price point. We had it with Chinese takeout (Kung Pao Chicken, Moo Shu Pork, brown rice) and it was perfect! Highly recommended!
