Luzon Red Blend 2007, Jumilla, Spain 2007 - $7

Another fun evening with friends EG and AG. They served an amazing spread of gourmet cheeses, crackers, Italian honey, grapes and walnuts, and this great wine along with it.

The Spanish Monastrell (65%) and Syrah (35%) blend is a nice and easy red wine, and can usually be found at around $7 (Costco). And it went great with the above selection of fabulous munchies! And this was just the first of 3 wines we tasted tonight - read on!

This wine was rated 90 points by Wine Enthusiast, and was named #1 in their list of top value wines of 2008.
